Swans, a free, public performance in Milwaukee’s Veteran’s Park Lagoon where swan paddle boats are the stage - created by composer Lia Kohl (@liairenekohl ) and visual artist Jess Bass (@partly_spring )

On August 30th, six boats will move around the lagoon in choreographed formations, each holding dancers waving wing sculptures, and saxophones playing from the back of each boat. Performers include dancers and musicians from Milwaukee and Chicago: Tuli Bera, Angela Frederick, Saoirse Ahumada Furin, Zoe Mei Glise, Graciela Gonzalez, Hattie Grimm, Gerrit Hatcher, Fred Jackson Jr., Molly Jones, Ayako Kato, Amanda Maraist, Luc Mosley, Sen Morimoto, Maggie Seer, Nicole Spence, Mai Sugimoto.
